Mental Health Resources (Counseling)

What is counseling and why would I go?

People go to counseling for a variety of reasons. You may feel stuck and have specific issues in mind. You may simply want a confidential place to speak with an unbiased professional. When you experience difficulties in school, work or life, licensed mental health professionals can help. Counselors listen, ask questions and try to help you understand your thoughts and feelings. Counseling Services is designed to meet the needs of Collin College students with compassion, honesty and confidentiality.

Once you begin classes at Collin College, you are eligible for counseling services at no charge.
We look forward to working with you. Contact us with any questions.
