Cougar Eatz Provides New Meal Options For Busy Lifestyles
Cougar Eatz, a new program offered by Collin College Food Services, will begin offering heat-and-eat take home meals beginning this fall. The meals will be offered in a variety of entrée and vegetable combinations, freshly prepared and changing weekly.
Collin College Honors Professors with First Faculty Emeriti Distinctions
English professors Martha Tolleson and Gordon O’Neal were recognized as Collin College’s first faculty emeriti at All College Day, Aug. 16. Collin College District President Dr. Neil Matkin said staff championed this program to honor exceptional contributions of faculty members who have committed a significant portion of their careers to Collin College and its students.
Collin College Alumnus Andy Bean to Appear in Upcoming Film ‘It: Chapter Two’
Collin College alumnus and actor Andy Bean is part of a star-filled cast of It: Chapter Two, the sequel to the 2017 film based on the Stephen King novel, which comes out in theaters on Sept. 6. Bean attended Collin College from 2003-2005 and was part of the theater program at the college.
Collin College’s BILT Model Receives National Innovative Program Award
Dr. Ann Beheler, executive director of emerging technology grants at Collin College, was part of a team awarded the 2019 Innovative Program Award by the High Impact Technology Exchange Conference (HI-TEC), an annual conference of advanced technological education. HI-TEC is produced by the National Science Foundation Advanced Technological Education community.
